Re: Craig Dawson...
Alex G if Dawson was fully fit I wouldn't be surprised that he'd have been playing and maybe we wouldn't have given away a penalty and an own goal.

Re: Craig Dawson...
Wrong to keep an unhappy player, particularly if this stems from unfortunate family problems. Far exceeded all of our expectations, done us proud and the club should do the right thing by him. Let him go with best wishes.

When we first got him from Watford I thought what the feck ! How wrong I was will always appreciate the way he wore his heart on his sleeve for us.

Re: Craig Dawson...
I hope he stays - seems well liked by the rest of the squad. But realistically where is he in the pecking order now? Fifth choice centre back? Never say never with our injury problems but will he get much in the way of match time - or even make it on to the bench if we're anywhere near full strength?

I hope he stays as well.
Very good backup.

Re: Craig Dawson...
Hope he stays.... if his family issues / commute is the problem just let him train at home and play in ECL matches, coming down for the training sessions leading up to those. Obviously would then be available in an injury crisis if needed.

He owes us nothing and I don't see why the above wouldn't work.

Re: Craig Dawson...
I’m glad Dawson is staying, I’d it’s true. Is a rock at the back and a real threat from set pieces. It’s for good reason he acquires the Ballon Dawson nickname last season.

Latest rumour is he might be staying as the deal for the Polish bloke is no longer happening.

Apart from the goals and all round good performances my favourite memory of daws was when he done kiwi "hardman" Chris Wood, leaving him sprawled on the ground, dazed , confused and in a lot of pain.

Re: Craig Dawson...
He’s been different class for us and has played a huge part in our progression over the last two seasons. Highly reliable and always gives 100%.

Watching him go through three Lyon players in the closing stages of the home leg will live long in the memory. That typified what he brings to any team. Loads of valuable goals too, none more so than the opener away to Lyon in the second leg.

Legend status, despite only being here for a couple of years.
